About this Episode

Musician David Francisco thought he would never walk again, much less stand on the stage of American Idol. After a severe spinal cord injury left David in a wheelchair in 2016, he discovered how deep his desire to make music went (hint: pretty deep), he met his wonderful wife, Kristi (who also joins us on this episode), and he learned how hard he was willing to fight for both. We talk about the accident, his comeback, adventures in American Idol, his new album "Lionheart", and what drives him to create and collaborate now more than ever.

*_"You're vying for people's attention and you have to give them 10 things before you can ask anything."
